SnappyStack is a small, independent project. We build the layer that makes your own servers feel like a platform — and then get out of the way, because the servers, the containers and the code are all yours.

Origins

Why we started it

Deploying a side project used to mean a server and a shell. Then it meant a dashboard, a per-seat price and a bill that grew with your traffic — and eventually a migration when the platform changed its mind about what it wanted to be.

Meanwhile a €20 server will happily run several applications, a database and a handful of long-running agents. The hardware was never the hard part. The hard part was the twenty small chores between a git push and a working URL: images, proxies, certificates, health checks, logs, cleanup.

SnappyStack does those chores. It runs on any machine you can SSH into, it leaves plain Docker containers and your own repositories behind it, and it never becomes the thing you have to migrate off.

What we hold to

Three rules we do not bend.

Your infrastructure, always

We do not host your applications and we do not want your data. Source, secrets, databases and agent transcripts stay on machines you control.

Boring underneath

Docker containers, a reverse proxy, SSH. If you stop paying us, everything keeps running and you can still read every moving part.

Honest about the stage

We are in beta with real users. We will tell you what works today, what is in the pipeline, and what we have not built yet.

Who is behind SnappyStack?

What stage is the product at?

Beta, with real users. Deploy, Agents and Review all work today; we say plainly what is in the pipeline rather than implying it exists.

Do you host anything for me?

No. Your applications, agents and data run on machines you control. We do not want custody of your code.

What happens if SnappyStack goes away?

Plain Docker containers, your own repositories and your own servers are what is left behind, so your applications and agents keep running.
